About the role

As an Applied AI Engineer, you'll develop and implement machine learning systems that power our core matching algorithms and business intelligence tools. You'll work on models for candidate evaluation, project categorization, and outcome prediction using diverse data sources. Collaborating with product and engineering teams, you'll translate research concepts into production-ready systems that deliver tangible business value. You'll optimize recommendation engines, build data pipelines for continuous model improvement, and implement metrics to evaluate AI performance. This role involves both technical implementation and strategic thinking about how AI can transform talent management.

About your background and skills

Strong experience implementing machine learning systems in production environments, particularly for recommendation or matching applications. Expertise in Python, modern ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and data processing technologies. Background in natural language processing, especially for extracting insights from unstructured text like resumes and project descriptions. Experience with deploying models to production and building reliable data pipelines. Understanding of both traditional ML approaches and modern deep learning techniques. Ability to balance theoretical concepts with practical implementation constraints. Must communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Passion for using AI to solve real-world business problems in the evolving labor market.
