About the role

You'll build statistical models that extract signals from complex private market datasets, developing valuation frameworks and pricing algorithms. Partnering with our quant and engineering teams, you'll transform raw transaction data into actionable intelligence for institutional clients. Your work will include designing backtesting systems, creating risk metrics, and identifying market patterns across diverse private assets. You'll contribute to our data infrastructure, ensuring robust pipelines for ingestion and analysis. This position requires both technical implementation and strategic thinking about how data powers our core financial products.

About your background and skills

Expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning, particularly applied to financial markets or alternative assets. Strong programming skills (Python essential) with experience handling messy, incomplete datasets. Background in quantitative finance, derivatives pricing, or market microstructure preferred. Familiarity with time-series analysis and natural language processing valuable. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to investment professionals. Experience with financial data providers and understanding of market mechanics. Intellectual curiosity about private markets and financial innovation. Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces where established solutions don't exist. Passion for bringing data-driven approaches to traditionally relationship-based markets.
