About the role

You'll craft user experiences that make complex deployment and development workflows feel intuitive and effortless. Working with engineering and product teams, you'll design interfaces for our dashboard, CLI tools, and documentation that help developers navigate sophisticated technical processes with ease. Your responsibilities include creating cohesive design systems that scale across our platform, conducting user research with developers to identify pain points, and developing prototypes that transform technical concepts into elegant solutions. This position requires both strategic thinking about the overall user journey and hands-on creation of detailed interface designs.

About your background and skills

Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing developer tools or technical products that balance complexity with usability. Understanding of modern web development workflows and the challenges developers face when deploying applications. Expertise in creating information-dense interfaces that present technical data clearly and accessibly. Experience with design systems that maintain consistency across multiple product surfaces. Background working closely with engineers and translating technical requirements into intuitive designs. Ability to conduct effective user research with technical audiences and apply insights to improve experiences. Strategic thinking about how design decisions impact developer productivity and satisfaction.
