About the role

You'll architect and develop core components of our financial crime detection platform, working across our stack to enhance our real-time monitoring capabilities. Working with our product and data science teams, you'll build robust APIs, data processing pipelines, and sophisticated risk scoring algorithms that power our transaction monitoring system. Your responsibilities include designing scalable backends that process massive transaction volumes, implementing secure integrations with financial institutions, and creating intuitive interfaces that help analysts review suspicious activity. This position requires both technical depth to solve complex engineering challenges and strategic vision to evolve our platform architecture.

About your background and skills

Strong experience building production-grade applications with modern backend technologies (Python, Node.js, etc.) and cloud infrastructure. Background developing data-intensive applications that process large volumes of information reliably and securely. Experience designing efficient APIs and microservices architectures. Knowledge of database design and optimization for both relational and NoSQL systems. Understanding of security best practices for financial applications handling sensitive data. Ability to write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage. Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
